At 18 & Under MD, we believe in following the AAP and ACIP guidelines for shot schedules. Much research has been done to determine when your baby is at highest risk of disease and the current schedule protects children during this time of increased risk.
There are many parents who prefer an alternate shot schedule. Vaccines are always up to you as a parent. If you prefer an alternate shot schedule, talk with your provider about schedule options.
Below you will find information about the recommended vaccines and the schedule we usually follow.
Dr. Naylor has written a “parent friendly” definition of each vaccination listed. We encourage you to read about each vaccination below and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call our office.
